Chunky, and solid cedarwood foot stool

Really heavy and dense piece of wooden root, fascinatingly cleaned up and crafted into this chunky foot stool.

The stool has a rustic finish with lots of bumps, knots &  gnarls around the base, but with careful work these have been turned into a smooth finished stool full of character:

The wood is firstly cut by machine and then finished by hand to produce a smooth finish and shape. Artisans then apply a varnish finish to help maintain the wood quality. This stool is ethically sourced using old roots.
